Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide

A nonapeptide originally isolated from rabbit brain that promotes deep delta-wave sleep. Increasingly recognized for its role in recovery through improved sleep architecture, stress modulation, and hormonal regulation.
Store at 2–8°C (36–46°F) for up to 3 months. For long-term storage, keep at -20°C (-4°F). Once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within 1-2 weeks. Protect from light.
Discovered in 1977 by Schoenenberger and Monnier. Studied in human trials for insomnia, chronic pain, and withdrawal syndromes with mixed but promising results. Most research from 1980s-1990s European studies. Mechanism remains complex and not fully elucidated.
