KPV

A tripeptide derived from the C-terminal end of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH). Possesses potent anti-inflammatory properties without the melanogenic effects of the parent hormone.

• Inhibits NF-kB nuclear translocation and activation
• Reduces pro-inflammatory cytokine production (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β)
• Modulates inflammasome pathways
• Directly enters intestinal epithelial cells to reduce inflammation
• Exhibits direct antimicrobial activity on cell membranes

Store at 2–8°C (36–46°F) for up to 3 months. For long-term storage, keep at -20°C (-4°F). Once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within 2 weeks. Oral capsules: store in a cool, dry place.

Studied primarily in preclinical models of colitis, skin inflammation, and infection. Demonstrated ability to reduce intestinal inflammation in IBD mouse models comparable to standard treatments. Strong in vitro evidence for NF-kB pathway inhibition.
