TB-500

Thymosin Beta-4

Also known as: TB4, Thymosin Beta-4, Tβ4

Overview

A naturally occurring 43-amino acid peptide present in virtually all human cells. Plays a critical role in tissue repair, cell migration, and new blood vessel formation following injury.

Half-Life
~2 hours
Typical Dose
2–5 mg
Frequency
2x per week (loading), 1x per week (maintenance)
Cycle Length
4-8 weeks loading, then maintenance

Administration

SubcutaneousIntramuscular

Benefits

  • Promotes tissue repair and regeneration
  • Reduces inflammation and fibrosis
  • Enhances cell migration to injury sites
  • Improves flexibility and range of motion
  • Supports cardiac tissue repair
  • Promotes hair regrowth

Side Effects

  • Temporary lethargy
  • Head rush shortly after injection
  • Injection site redness
  • Mild flu-like symptoms during loading phase

Mechanism of Action

  • Sequesters G-actin to regulate cytoskeletal dynamics
  • Upregulates cell surface integrin expression for adhesion
  • Promotes endothelial cell differentiation for angiogenesis
  • Activates matrix metalloproteinases for tissue remodeling
  • Downregulates pro-inflammatory cytokines

Contraindications

  • Active cancer (promotes angiogenesis)
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active infections (theoretical immune modulation)

Storage & Reconstitution

Store at 2–8°C (36–46°F) for up to 3 months. For long-term storage, keep at -20°C (-4°F). Once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within 2-3 weeks.
